Crystal Cruises – Updated Smoking Policy

2014 Smoking Policy Preview

In keeping with the lifestyle trends of our guests, we wanted to let you know of important developments recently made to the smoking policy aboard the ships of Crystal Cruises. For the comfort and enjoyment of everyone, smoking will be prohibited in all indoor areas, except for the Connoisseur Club, effective with the first s in 2014. Outside smoking will be allowed in a limited number of designated spaces. The revised policy begins with the January 5, 2014 (v4301, Crystal Serenity) and January 8, 2014 (v4201, Crystal Symphony) voyages and eliminates smoking in all staterooms, suites, and corridors, as well as the Crystal Cove lounge and Pulse and Luxe nightclubs. Most areas of Crystal ships have been non-smoking for several years, including the restaurants, main entertainment lounges, all stateroom and suite verandahs, the Casino and Avenue Saloon.

These changes have been made following considerable feedback from our guests, the worldwide majority of whom are non-smokers. As always, our policies evolve with the changing lifestyles of today’s discerning travelers. The Connoisseur Club will remain as the only interior smoking area, along with designated outdoor deck spaces.
