Immigration Changes

There are a lot of changes taking place recently for immigration paperwork related to travel, particularly for Cruises.

  • The US is working on a new travel document for travel to/from US/Mexico/Canada which might be of benefit to Cruisers
  • Many lines are no longer letting minors travel without a passport, when the adult is using a passport
  • As of July 2011 the use of birth certificates as immigration paperwork has become more strict. If you haven’t traveled recently, we’ll discuss the implications with you briefly

However, in general, we continue to strongly recommend that all traveler us a passport as their immigration document for all travel.
