[Redding, California] (May 2015)—Jason Olson, owner of True Vacation Travel (formerly known as Cruise Holidays of Redding), recently attended Vacation.com’s 17th International Conference & Trade Show aboard Royal Caribbean’s recently-built Quantum of the Seas®. He joined a group of more than 1,200 industry professionals for the invitation-only event where he learned about the latest in travel industry innovation, participated in numerous training seminars, and had the opportunity to network with some of the travel industry’s top executives. By gathering aboard the Quantum of the Seas®, Olson enjoyed access to some of the industry’s top experts from airlines and cruise lines to hotels and tour operators. The industry event also featured more than 100 hours of classes, workshops and seminars; and a full supplier trade show took place on April 29th. In addition, attendees at Vacation.com’s 2015 International Conference also had the privilege of hearing keynote speaker Randy Garfield, who served as President of Walt Disney Travel Company and EVP/Chief Sales Officer for Disney Destinations.

Beyond simply being an attendee at the event, Olson had the distinct honor of being the Key Note speaker for the Vacation.com Young Travel Professional group on board. This group is the next wave of talent in the travel industry, dispelling the belief that Travel Agencies are a thing of the past.
